Circulation systems
Description
The circulation system is the most important component of the drilling fluid handling system. It has rectangular vessels connected by pipelines that carry the fluid.
Features of the equipment
The system performs the following functions:
- prepares drilling fluid;
- brings the fluid from the wellhead to the receiving tanks;
- cleans the drilling fluid from rock impurities and degasses it;
- treats the drilling fluid chemically;
- delivers the fluid to the drilling pumps and to the refilling tank;
- creates conditions for storing the drilling fluid.
